Sips Powered by Spice Cocktail Class @Stonehill's in Accord, NY
We are excited to announce our 'Sips Powered by Spice' Cocktail Class at the boutique country inn and wedding venue of Stonehills in Accord NY. The Farmhouse is nestled away in the intimate hamlet of Accord and is set amidst 20 acres of beautiful woodland in the Hudson Valley.
The property has multiple spaces, the largest of these is the farm’s English-style barn which was originally built as a dairy farm by English settlers in the early nineteenth century. During the 1920s, the farmer cabins were converted to lodging for Broadway performers who came up for the summer. The barn was used as a theater where the community would gather for plays, concerts, weddings, and celebrations.
Celebrations
The cocktail class takes place on Friday, April 5th at 5pm at the bar in the barn. During the hour-long experience you'll learn how to mix up delicious cocktails like a pro with a custom cocktail kit, complete with a stainless steel shaker set and barware.
Each kit also contains our Artisan syrups, which are produced in our mixology lab in the Hudson Valley with gorgeous garnishes. Every Artisan Syrup contains no nasty additives and are made with exotic spices and herbs, all inspired by the Island of Mauritius - a slice of paradise in the Indian Ocean. Our syrups are available on-line and are selected from gourmet spice stores upstate, for a list see here
During the class, our head mixologist, Yusef, will expertly guide you through the process, sharing tips and tricks along the way so you will come away learning how to craft the perfect cocktail or mocktail.
You will also engage in some fun Trivia and learn about Spirits history ane engage in spice storytelling by Nandini, a certified Ayurveda Health Coach,
